Niagara Falls’ mayor Jim Diodati is honouring Pal and his owner Mike Lalicich, for their efforts supporting fundraising for the David Gregory MacKinnon Memorial Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping families affected by kidney disease.

Lalicich says that they are trying to raise money for an ultrasound machine for the hospital, in the kidney department.

Lalicich and Pal have some very popular social media accounts which they use to draw attention to important causes. The accounts used to feature Lalicich’s old German Shepherd, Buddy, who passed away but is far from forgotten. “Pal’s carried over the legacy and we are doing fine,” Lalicich said.
