Hamilton police investigate targeted shooting in east end

Hamilton police are investigating a targeted shooting that happened in the city’s east end early Wednesday.

Police say the shooting was around 3:40 a.m. in the area of Case and Lottridge streets, not far from Hamilton Stadium.

No one was hurt, but a home was damaged by a vehicle when the victim tried to drive away.

Anyone in the area with surveillance cam footage between 3:30 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. is asked to contact the Shooting Response Team at 905-546-4883 or email shootingresponseteam@hamiltonpolice.ca.
