Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three people they believe may have critical information to assist them in a shooting investigation.
On Sunday at around 3:10 am, officers responded to a shooting in the city’s east end, in the area of Queenston Road and Parkdale Avenue South.
Investigators say they learned that there was a private event in the area, when a physical altercation broke out between two parties.
Detectives say this resulted in a firearm being discharged. Although there were several people in the area, there is no information to suggest anyone was injured.

This marks Hamilton’s 20th shooting of the year.
Anyone with information to help identify the people of interest, or anyone who knows them, is asked to contact officers at 905-546-4883 or email shootingresponseteam@hamiltonpolice.ca.
Hamilton police will have a visible presence in the area as the investigation continues.
