Hamilton Mountain Metro employee tests positive for COVID-19

An employee at a Metro grocery store on the Hamilton mountain has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the company’s website, the employee last worked at the store at 967 Fennell Ave. E on Aug. 16.

Metro was notified of the positive test result the following day.

“Out of an abundance of caution, with each case that is reported, we will deep clean and sanitize the location,” says Metro.

As of Wednesday, Hamilton Public Health is reporting 46 active cases of COVID-19.
