Ager Hasan remains on the run from the law. The 24 year old Hamilton man is wanted for allegedly murdering his Kitchener girlfriend.

Monday night two new videos and a photo were uploaded to whoever is running the Instagram account under Hasan’s name. These are the first posts on the social media account since Hasan fled to the United States hours after the murder.

Hasan was last spotted at at truck stop in Tennessee a month ago but posts on his Instagram account dispute that sighting. The 12 second video shows what appears to be Ager Hasan in a kitchen. It doesn’t have audio but the caption says quote: “they photoshopped and altered my image, made up stories that I was in Nashville trying to get to Mexico. Making the situation much worst than it is. If I wanted to be there and vanish for good, I would, but I don’t.”

Waterloo regional police believe Ager Hassan remains in the United States. He took off over the Peace Bridge on April 28th, hours after his girlfriend, 22 year old Melinda Vasilije was stabbed to death.

A photo was also uploaded to the Instagram account, a picture of Hasan and Vasileeah. It says “I regret everything negative I ever did to you.”

Detectives say they are aware of the videos and the photo and what they are doing now is trying to determine if it really was Ager Hasan that made the posts or if it’s someone posing as the man on the run.

Officers say they have been in contact with Hasan through emails but they can’t reveal what information the emails contain but encourage Hasan to turn himself in.
