Hamilton man named a game changer

With Christmas just a few weeks away a young man from Hamilton through his charitable nature is showing the true meaning of the holidays.
Nick Davies was named the Ticats 2014 Scotiabank Game Changer, winning $25,000 for the Neighbour 2 Neighbour charity. He earned the nomination after starting the “stuff the bus” food drive four years ago. Nick was told today that he was chosen out of 8 finalists.
“I was ecstatic. It’s such a great program here at Neighbour 2 Neighbour that it feels really good to give back and give something to them that they’ll really need it this time of year.”
Nick runs 10 “stuff the bus” events each year, with 45 schools taking part. The event raised $56,000 worth of food items last year alone.
