Hamilton police investigate the city’s sixth murder of the year

Hamilton police say 31-year old Suleiman Husaini of Toronto was found around 11:45 on Sunday.

Laying down on Carling street with multiple gunshot wounds, a commotion leading up to his discovery woke up residents on the normally quiet street.

This is Hamilton’s sixth homicide of the year. Detectives say they’re looking for two men they say drove off in a sedan.

No descriptions for the potential shooters or their car have been shared. Police say the public isn’t at risk “It would appear it is not a not random, I’m just speculating at this time but based on the information we have thus far”.

Witnesses also say a man living in a nearby apartment rushed outside to try to save the victim, police, and paramedics rushed in soon after.
