Additional charges have been laid against Bryan Hayward of Hamilton who was initially arrested in May for multiple sexual assaults of unsuspecting women.

Hamilton police say Hayward is believed to have been administering a noxious substance to victims before sexually assaulting them.

On July 3, officers laid the following charges against 36-year-old Hayward in relation to new victims and evidence:

  • Aggravated Sexual Assault (×12)
  • Administer Noxious Substance (×13)
  • Administer Overpowering/Stupefying Drug to Overcome Resistance (×12)
  • Voyeurism (×5)
  • Distribute Intimate Images Without Consent (×5)
  • Assault (×1)

Officers describe Hayward as a five-foot-ten white male, approximately 180 lbs, medium build, brown hair and has a left-hand amputation.

Investigators believe he may have contacted victims through online dating and social media platforms.

Some incidents may date back to before his amputation in November 2021.

At this time, police suspect there may be more victims, including individuals who are unaware that they were assaulted.

Anyone who may have had any form of relationship with Hayward or has relevant information regarding the investigation is asked to contact police at 905-540-5545.
