Hamilton man charged in fatal September hit-and-run near Gage Park

Hamilton police have charged a man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in September 2021 that claimed the life of a 52-year-old woman.

The collision happened around 9 a.m. on Sept. 29 in the area of Balsam and Maplewood avenues.

Investigators said Thomas Jordan, 32, of Hamilton was arrested on Tuesday and charged with five offences, including dangerous operation cause death and failure to stop after accident resulting in death.

Jordan is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
