Hamilton man arrested in convenience store robbery

Hamilton police have made an arrest following a convenience store robbery on Hamilton Mountain last week.

On Thursday, investigators released images of a man wanted in connection with an armed at Danny’s Convenience Store on Upper Gage St.

It was reported to police that a man armed with an “edged weapon” entered the store around 9:30 p.m. on June 25 and demanded money.

He fled on foot empty-handed before police arrived on scene. Police say no one was physically harmed during the robbery.

Robert Kerr, 37, has been charged with robbery.
