Hamilton hot zone vaccinations

The provincial government hasn’t added three locally-identified COVID-19 hot spots in Hamilton to its online portal but residents 50 and older living in those areas can call to book an appointment.
The province identified two “hot spot” postal codes in Hamilton — L8W and L9C — earlier this week.
People 50 and older in these postal codes will be able to go online to the booking portal and make an appointment starting Friday.
The city has requested three other postal codes also be included in the hot spot list: L8N, L8L and L9K.

While Hamilton public health continues discussions with the province, people 50 and older living in these postal codes can call the city to make an appointment.
The number for the Public Health Services COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline is 905-974-9848, option 7.
People 60 and older across the province are eligible to book a vaccine through the online portal.
