Hamilton fire crews respond to overnight blaze at The Bean Bar

Emergency crews were on scene at an overnight fire at The Bean Bar in Hamilton’s Westdale neighbourhood last night.

Video captured by CHCH shows multiple fire tricks responding to the scene, as smoke billowed out of the front entraance of the restaurant.

Hamilton police closed a portion of King Street West in front of the plaza while firefighters worked to put out the blaze.

Officials have not released any information about how the fire started, the extent of the damage, and if any neighbouring businesses have been impacted.
