Hamilton connections to silver medal rowers

Updated Another decent day for Team Canada in London, with our athletes making it to the podium twice.

This afternoon Brent Hayden from Mission, B.C. captured a bronze medal in the 100 metre freestyle. It’s the first time in three Olympics that Hayden even made it to the final.

Earlier today Canada’s men’s eights rowing team earned a silver after getting off to a rough start in the u-k. Kate Carnegie tells us there’s a lot of local connections to our silver medal winning crew.
