Hamilton burn ban lifted

The burn ban in Hamilton has been lifted due to the recent rainfall, but a ban remains in much of the Niagara region.

Bans remain in effect in Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pelham, St. Catharines, Wainfleet, Welland and West Lincoln.

The only areas of Niagara where the ban was lifted were Niagara Falls and Fort Erie. Grimsby will re-evaluate its ban on Monday.
