Burlington house fire

A house fire in Burlington sent one man to hospital with second degree burns and caused $500,000 worth of damage early Friday morning.

A man and woman were inside the house on Cornerstone Drive when the fire started.

Neighbours rushed to try to help, but according to witnesses the fire spread very quickly and was very aggressive.

The Fire Marshall was on scene to investigate, but says it may be at least one day before they can get into the house to uncover what caused the fire.
