Hamilton Bills fan becoming responsive

We have an update on the Hamilton man hit by a cab after a recent Buffalo Bills game.

Rob Sitter is showing some signs of life from his hospital bed inside Erie County Medical Center. The die-hard Bills fan has been in there since he was hit leaving a game against the Miami Dolphins last month.

Sitter’s wife Kimberly Welsh says there was an encouraging development yesterday. “He opened his eyes for me today. He wants to come home.”

Sitter’s sister says the family is hoping the Bills will send a player or two to his bedside to sign some gear and help raise his spirits.

The family is also trying to raise some money to help cover the costs of Sitter’s hospital bills. A trust fund has been set up.
