Hamilton airport drill
You might have seen smoke or heard sirens near Hamilton International Airport today, but there’s no need to be alarmed.
Hamilton’s emergency response units are just wrapping up a full-scale emergency exercise. It’s part of the airport’s emergency management plan and training response, so it complies with Canadian Aviation regulations.
Flights were not affected. Several agencies and companies are took part, including Purolator, Kelowna Flightcraft, NAV Canada, and Hamilton paramedics, fire and police.
