Halton teen arrested for Facebook threat

Halton police arrested an Oakville teen for making a threat on Facebook.

In the posting, the 17 year old shared a photo of himself holding a high-powered rifle, with a caption uttering a threat towards another male.

Burlington’s Criminal Investigation Unit was able to determine where that photo was taken.

Police have arrested the youth and seized several weapons, so he was unable to go through with the threat.

The teen cannot be identified because he’s a minor.
