Halton school board to host mental health sessions for parents
The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is hosting two mental health and well-being sessions for parents and guardians this week.
The first session is scheduled for Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., the media release says it will provide a space for adults supporting gender-diverse students.
Another session will be held on the following day on Jan. 19, it will be for parents and guardians whose children are on the Autism Spectrum Disorder from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Both sessions will be online, and space is limited. Parents can register online by completing a registration form on the school board’s website.
Parents and guardians will have the chance to submit questions when completing the registration form or during the session.
