Halton police seek witnesses of suspected hit and run in Oakville that left man in serious condition
Halton police are investigating a suspected hit and run collision involving a pedestrian in Oakville.
Police say on Monday, Feb. 28 around 4:35 a.m., they were contacted by a person who cam across a man lying on Towne Boulevard with obvious signs of trauma.
The man was transported to a hospital in serious condition.
Investigators say they believe he was struck by a vehicle and are asking the public for additional information.
Witnesses or persons with dash cam or surveillance footage are being asked to contact police at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
Police are looking specifically for footage of the area of Towne Boulevard between Dundas Street West and River Glen Boulevard at approximately 4:15 am to 4:35 am on February 28.
