Halton Police looking for thieves that stole from Burlington mausoleums

Halton Police are looking for thieves who’ve been stealing from the dead.

In the past week there have been at least two thefts from Burlington mausoleums. Rings and other valuables have been stolen from niches at Holy Sepulchre and Bayview Cemetery, both in Burlington.

The actual urns containing ashes have been untouched.

Police say the thefts may be connected to similar recent incidents in Oakville.
