Halton police arrested a man Thursday after a break-in at a home in Milton Tuesday morning in the area of Main Street East and Thompson Road North.

Officers say they responded to a call at around 6 a.m. to the home after reports of a male entering the home through an unlocked door.

Investigators say a woman in the home woke up to find a male inside the house and allegedly confronted him. They say the suspect then immediately fled the area.

Detectives say no property was stolen and the woman did not suffer any physical injuries.

Police say they identified and arrested 36-year-old Keegan Banfo of Milton as part of the investigation and charged him with three counts of failing to comply with a probation order and one charge of breaking and entering.

Banfo was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Police are concerned that Banfo may have been involved in additional break and enter incidents and have released a photo of him.

Anyone with information or has been victimized by Banfo is asked to contact police at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416.
