Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are raising concern after multiple recent overdoses in Haldimand County.
Officers say between Dec. 20, 2025 and Jan. 8, 2026, they responded to six suspected opioid drug overdoses, with four resulting in death.
The OPP are now reminding the public of the potentially lethal consequences of opioid use.
Authorities are cautioning anyone using unregulated drugs to use extreme caution, not use alone and have Narcan readily available.
Members of the public with information related to drug trafficking are being urged to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
Those wishing to provide information anonymously can do so through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or on their website.
