Police investigating the disappearance of a woman in Guelph say human remains have been found on a property where they were searching.

Seble Dietrich, age 39, was reported missing last July and police have been treating her disappearance as suspicious.

On Tuesday, police said they had arrested and charged Stephan Dietrich, 43, with first-degree murder and obstructing police.

They did not give any details on the relationship between the two.

The human remains have not yet been identified but they are being sent to Toronto for forensic examination.
