Guelph bus crash sends one to hospital

A Guelph Transit bus crushed a pickup truck on its way up an embankment in downtown Guelph Sunday morning.

Guelph Transit tweeted “Service will be disrupted due to a multi-vehicle collision downtown Guelph this morning”.

The woman driver of the pickup truck was been airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital.  Her injuries are not considered life threatening.

The crash happened about 9 a.m.  on Wyndham St.

The bus driver was sent to Guelph General Hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the truck was travelling the opposite way on Farquhar, a one-way street, and was broadsided by the bus.
