Growing safety concern for missing Hamilton woman
Hamilton police say there’s growing concern for the safety of a missing woman, who hasn’t been heard from in over a week.
So much concern, that the homicide unit has taken over the investigation into her disappearance.
It’s rare for police to hold a news conference about a missing person, so there is quite a bit of concern about her disappearance.
Police say 40-year-old Shalini Singh was last in contact with her family on December 4th.
They reported her missing on December 10th and police say while she was not living with her family at the time, it’s uncharacteristic of Shalini to lose contact.
Hamilton police say the homicide unit has taken over the investigation, after officers became increasingly concerned with the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
