After weeks of surveillance, Niagara Police seized almost 2 and a half million dollars in marijuana plants from a Grimsby greenhouse. The raid happened yesterday at a property on Sobie road. Officers pulled nearly 2 400 pot plants out of the greenhouse.

It`s the same place where a huge hash oil fire started in December but police say the people arrested in this raid are not connected to that one.

4 have been charged, warrants are out for 2 others. Police say both are members of a biker gang called the Assassins.

Police says the Assassins are currently trying to establish a clubhouse in Welland. Investigators have information that the gang is selling marijuana and is involved in other criminal activities.
