Ticats win first game at Alumni Stadium
It was a good night for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as they got settled into their new temporary stadium tonight in Guelph.
Kent Austin, second game as coach, winning last week in Montreal, this time starting that man Henry Burris, seeing his first action of the season. Second possession of the game, following an Erik Harris interception. Hank finds Greg Ellingson 27 yards again.
A couple of plays later, Chevon Walker, the fastest man on the team, pounds his way through. 7-0 for the Tabbys with 6:58 left in the opening quarter.
Late first, Winnipeg tries to get something going, Ricardo Cloclough sack on Justin Goltz. The Bombers are forced to punt. They punt it to Lindsey Lamar, he returned one last week and does so again. 14-0 Ticats after one quarter of play.

Right before the end of the half, Bombers going for it on third and goal, but Justin Goltz gets picked off by Ray Brown. He returns all of the way to the house, 110 yards. 35-0 at half.
It’s 44-0 in the fourth quarter, Emanual Davis with the interception, he runs it back and then laterals to Harold Mutobola.
