Just in time for the fall semester, Metrolinx is rolling out expanded GO bus service to post-secondary schools across the Golden Horseshoe.
The seasonal return of student-focused transit options includes increased service on several routes, new express options, and stop adjustments to better serve riders heading to and from campus.
The following changes went into effect on Saturday, Aug. 30:
Service is resuming on the following routes aimed at connecting students to colleges and universities: 15, 25, 30, 31, 41, 47, 52, 56, and 88.
In anticipation of higher demand, additional trips are being added to several routes during peak periods:

As part of ongoing infrastructure improvements and construction, several changes have been made to stops across the network:
New stops:
Route 15B now includes new northbound and southbound stops at Erie Avenue at Ninth Avenue in Brantford.
Stop removals:
Routes 92, 92A, 94, 96BZ: Southbound McCowan Road at Triton Road in Scarborough was permanently removed due to subway construction. Riders should use the Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal.
Route 90B: The east and westbound Victoria Street East at South Blair Street stops in Whitby were removed due to long-term roadway construction. Use Whitby GO or Oshawa GO as alternatives.

Stop relocations:
GO Transit is also fine-tuning schedules across most routes to better reflect real travel times and align with updated train services. Riders are advised that some trips may now depart up to 10 minutes earlier or later than previously scheduled.
