General Motors recall

More than 250,000 SUV’s from the General Motors brand are being recalled in Canada and the U.S.

Salt and other chemicals used to clear roads in cold winter weather climates can cause corrosion in some circuit boards, leading to
short-circuits and possibly fires.

GM says it has reports of 28 fires, but knows of no injuries.

The SUV’s are from the 2006 and 2007 model year and include the Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Isuzu Ascender
and Saab 97-x.
