Niagara police arrested four people Thursday in connection with a drug trafficking investigation following a raid at an address on Desson Avenue in Niagara Falls.
Officers say they executed a judicial search warrant at the address at around 5:37 a.m. with assistance from several local street crime units.
They say they seized the following items from the residence:
Investigators charged 62-year-old Todd Petkovich of Niagara Falls with four counts of possessing a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possessing proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Police also charged 49-year-old Amanda Spence of Niagara Falls with offences including possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
Spence attended a bail hearing on Thursday at a St. Catharines courthouse.
Petkovich was released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date.
The two additional occupants that were at the residence were arrested within the building on the strength of outstanding warrants.
