A former family doctor from Burlington faces sexual assault charges, Halton police say.

The victim was underage at the time of the alleged assaults, which according to police occurred between 1997 and 1998.

Scott Musson, 60, of Burlington was arrested on Saturday Mar. 13. He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference.

Police say Musson was practicing at an office at 500 Elizabeth St. in Burlington.

He was also involved in youth programs at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 2366 Headon Rd. in Burlington.

Investigators believe there could be additional victims.
