Fire destroys Hamilton Crabby Joe’s

Damage from a raging overnight fire at a west Hamilton restaurant is estimated at half a million dollars.

Large flames were shooting through the roof near the rear of the building when fire crews arrived at Crabby Joe’s on Main Street West near Osler just after 2:00 this morning.

No one was inside the restaurant at the time. Part of the roof collapsed shortly after firefighters arrived.

The Ontario Fire Marshal will be investigating as the fire is being considered suspicious.
