The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office is investigating after a man died in hospital after being pulled from an overnight fire at a home on Hill Avenue in Brantford.

The man was found at around 1 a.m. Saturday morning. Paramedics rushed him to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The exact cause of death, as well as the cause of the fire have not yet been determined.
