A man is dead after a single vehicle crash on Highway 401 in Milton near Highway 25.

It happened at about 9am in the westbound lanes. OPP say the vehicle hit a guard rail and ended up in a ditch. All westbound lanes of Highway 401 have now been reopened. The OPP had also briefly closed the northbound and southbound ramps of Highway 25. The driver’s name hasn’t been released.
