Video added Charges have been laid against the former executive director of the Salvation Army.

David Rennie was fired last week, after the Salvation Army revealed about 100,000 toys were stolen from its North York warehouse over the past two years.

Rennie has turned himself into police and is charged with theft, possession and breach of trust. He will appear in court on January 4th.

The alleged internal fraud is estimated at several million dollars, including $2 million worth of toys.
