Evidence of childbirth found at Mississauga park

Peel police are searching for a woman and infant who may be in medical distress after evidence of a childbirth was found at a Mississauga park.
Police were called to Sugar Maple Woods Park around 3:50 p.m. Monday.
Officers found blood, forceps and other evidence consistent with childbirth inside the park, but no mother or child.
Peel police say officers checked the area as well as local hospitals and did not find the pair.
Investigators are now asking for the public’s help in locating the mother and child and say they are concerned for their well-being.
