Environment Canada investigating possible tornado in Flamborough

A team from Environment Canada will be in Flamborough on Thursday to determine whether or not a tornado touched down.

A late afternoon storm on Wednesday brought hail, heavy rain and strong winds.

The storm was so powerful, a large tree was snapped off at ground level and a large truck was overturned at a farm on Brock Rd.

The roof of a building was also badly damaged.

Investigators will look at the pattern of the storm damage, along with radar shots from the time of the storm.
