Endless Love

Endless Love stars Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde as David and Jade, two teens who fall head over heels in love after their high school graduation. Jade comes from a well off family while Jake is a working class boy with a checkered past. This doesn’t sit well with Jade’s protective father, played by Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek), who doesn’t trust the reckless boy with his daughter.

Originally a novel, the story was adapted for the big screen in 1981 and starred Brooke Shields. That release is known more for the song of the same name by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross, which spent 9 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 chart and earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. Director Shana Feste was named one of Variety’s 10 Directors to Watch in 2009 and last directed the film Country Strong in 2010.
