Halton police are looking for approximately eight suspects who are accused of stealing eight high-end vehicles worth about $2 million from a dealership in Oakville.
Officers say the theft happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Lockwood Leasing on South Service Road, near Third Line and the QEW.
“We didn’t realize until about 6:30 a.m. when our neighbour notified us that our garage door was open,” says Russell Osborne, a sales associate at the dealership.
The suspects — who were all wearing dark clothing and face coverings — allegedly broke in through the front window and took keys from a lockbox.
No one was injured as the dealership was empty at the time of the theft.
They got away with a Ferrari, two Porsches, two BMWs and three Mercedes.
Osborne says he believes that the thieves will return to the dealership for more of the vehicles because they already have the keys from the lockbox.
Police say they have since recovered the Ferrari, one BMW and one Mercedes within the GTA.

Const. Jeff Dillon with Halton police says because three of the cars were found east of Oakville, he speculates the other vehicles may have also gone the same direction.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The showroom at the dealership remains empty but open Monday.
