Woman seriously injured, Georgetown, Ont. teen arrested in shooting

Halton police have arrested a 19-year-old woman and another woman is seriously injured after a shooting in Georgetown, Ont. on Thursday.

Officers say that at around 3:45 p.m., they were called to a home in the area of John and Victoria Streets for an alleged shooting.

Detectives say a woman was brought to the hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries and is now in stable condition.

Investigators arrested 19-year-old Emma MacLean of Georgetown, Ont. and who is facing three charges related to the shooting and one charge of failure to comply with a probation order.

Police have held MacLean in custody ahead of her bail hearing.
