The Edmonton Eskimos took down the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, 29-26, Saturday night at Tim Hortons Field.
Derel Walker managed two touchdowns in the victory, as the Esks jumped back into the win column.
A scary scene on the field when Ticats defensive back Derrius Brooks left the game on a stretcher for “precautionary reasons” in the third quarter after he collided with one of his own teammates.
A tweet by the Ticats later confirmed that Brooks’ tests came back negative and he would be released from hospital.
The Ticats are hoping to turn things around next week when they host the Montreal Alouettes.
The Eskimos will do their best to maintain their winning ways when they face off against the Toronto Argonauts.
