Eaton Centre murder suspect defied house arrest

Updated A 23 year old man is now facing a number of charges – including first degree murder – and Toronto Police say the shooting suspect is known to them, and was under house arrest for a previous charge.

Christopher Husbands turned himself in early this morning and is facing one count of first degree murder and six counts of attempted murder. But while police say the accused and at least 2 of the victims have gang ties, they insist this incident was a personal matter and not gang-related. Melissa Raftis reports.
