Donald Trump awaits ruling in defamation case

Donald Trump has been just about everywhere along the U.S. east coast in the past 24 hours. From a New York courtroom, to a rally in New Hampshire, to his mother-in-law’s funeral in Florida today.

A defamation case in Manhattan went on without him, as a jury decides how much money Trump will be required to pay E. Jean Carroll – a former writer who has accused him of sexual assault.

Trump’s lead attorney was trending today as well, as she tried to cast doubt on the threats Carroll faced as a result of Trump’s public remarks about her.
