Doc of the Dead

Doc of the Dead is a documentary (naturally) directed by Alexandre O. Philippe. The film is an analysis of the zombie phenomenon that has swept through all forms of media in recent years. Many of the genre’s famous faces make appearances including Simon Pegg (Shawn of the Dead), Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead franchise), George A. Romero (director, Night of the Living Dead series), Greg Nicotero (executive producer, The Walking Dead TV series), Robert Kirkman (author, The Walking Dead graphic novel series), and Max Brooks (author, World War Z).

Doc of the Dead had it’s world premiere at this year’s South by Southwest Festival and played at this year’s Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto. The film doesn’t have a rating, but judging by the trailer you can assume there will be some potentially scary and gory zombie footage.
