Disruptions on Lakeshore West GO line after Monday’s floods

GO Transit riders on the Lakeshore West line are facing ongoing service disruptions after Monday’s flooding damaged local tracks.

Metrolinx tells CHCH News that track work by their rail partner was expected to begin Tuesday morning between St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.

During this time, Niagara trips will originate and end at St. Catharines GO.

Westbound customers can board a GO bus at St. Catharines GO for Niagara Falls.

Meanwhile, eastbound riders can board a GO bus at Niagara Falls to connect with rail service along the Lakeshore West line.

Customers are advised to stay updated on GO Transit’s website.
