Dick Clark, ‘world’s oldest teenager’ dead at 82

For one generation, Dick Clark is the television and radio personality who helped bring rock ‘n’ roll into the mainstream on “American Bandstand.”

To another, he was the man in a tux in New York’s Times Square helping them ring in the new year. This afternoon Clark died at the age of 82. And while he’s been out of the mainstream spotlight for years after suffering a stroke, Nick Dixon tells us people are still shocked at the news.
