DeMar DeRozan agreed to five year deal with the Raptors

DeMar DeRozan has turned the biggest year of his career into a very big contract.

He’s agreed on the basic framework of a five-year deal worth $139 million dollars. DeRozan and the Raptors still have some financial terms to complete, but both sides agreed he would be staying put. He can sign on or after July 7th, when the league’s off-season moratorium on player movement expires.

DeRozan has spent all of his seven NBA seasons with the Raptors. He averaged a career-best 23.5 points this past season, when he helped Toronto reach the Eastern Conference finals.
