Crime Stoppers host “Jail-a-Thon”

Crime Stoppers of Halton hosted their Jail-a-Thon in Oakville on Saturday.

The event was held at Oakville Place where people had the chance to participate in the “kangaroo court” and spend some time as a “jailbird” while raising bail to win their release from the “makeshift jail.”

It was all to raise money for Crime Stoppers.

The Jail-a-Thon has been used by Crime Stoppers across North America to raise money for daily operations.
