Canada’s Ebola aid

Canada is sending a second mobile lab team to West Africa to help battle the Ebola outbreak.

This includes a mobile laboratory and two additional scientists.

They’ll join the agency’s existing team in Sierra Leone, and help local healthcare workers to quickly diagnose the virus.

The federal government says onsite laboratories are very important to stopping Ebola’s spread, because they allow for patients to be isolated faster.
